INDUSTRIAL FILIPNO FUSION
A 90-sqm, two-bedroom unit designed to celebrate both identity and artistry.
This project was particularly close to my heart — a chance to design for a couple from my own LGBTQIA+ community and bring their contrasting styles into perfect harmony. One leaned toward the raw character of industrial design, while the other was deeply rooted in the “Love Local” movement. The challenge? To make both worlds coexist seamlessly without one outshining the other.
Born during the pandemic, the layout evolved to include a dedicated home office — a safe and stylish workspace for the couple’s new normal. The result is a modern interpretation of Industrial-Filipino Fusion, where metal and concrete meet rattan and native textures, and where every piece reflects a balance of individuality, purpose, and pride.
