VILLAGE AMENITIES

This project pushed me in all the right ways. I’ve always been rooted in residential design, so stepping into a clubhouse with soaring ceilings and walls of glass was both exciting and intimidating. The shell itself demanded creativity — it wasn’t just about making it look good, but making it work.

I approached it the way I always do: multiple minds, one vision. We blended modern and Scandinavian sensibilities to bring warmth, function, and personality into the vast space. The floating ceiling mounted on the trusses became the hero — solving both lighting and shading issues while serving as a defining design feature.

From there, everything fell into rhythm. Wood-finished beams, stone-wrapped counters, and lounge-style furniture softened the architecture and brought a casual, nature-inspired feel. Once the lobby came together, the rest of the clubhouse followed effortlessly.

What started as one of my most challenging projects turned into one of the most fulfilling - proof that stepping out of your comfort zone can lead to something truly remarkable.
