SCANDINAVIAN SINGLE DETACHED MODEL HOUSE

This single detached model house is part of a larger township project — another canvas where my team and I continued to explore that easy, breezy Scandinavian vibe paired with the clean, grounded lines of modern design.

For this one, I took a different approach. Each room was assigned to a different designer on my team. I set the direction, established the mood, and let their creativity flow. The goal was simple: to see how well our individual perspectives could align into one cohesive story.

While the duplex model carried the same aesthetic DNA, this single detached unit needed to feel more elevated — more premium. To achieve that, we added subtle hints of shine through gold metal finishes, just enough to introduce a sense of luxe without straying from the Scandinavian warmth.

Neutral tones, soft “gray-ge” walls, and two-tone wood finishes grounded the palette, while modern touches came through in the furniture: sculpted lounge chairs, stitched dining seats, and clean-lined tables and lighting. The accessories remained understated - simple shapes, soft prints, and thoughtful color blocking - to let the design breathe.

In the end, this house became proof that when different minds operate as one, the result is seamless - a unified design that feels effortless, elevated, and true to its essence.
